I am a physician-scientist by training with my basic medical education at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and a PhD in basic science from CCMB, followed by three years of post-doctoral research at the Massachusetts Eye and Infirmary, Harvard Medical school, Boston, USA. I did my clinical residency in Neurology (a post-graduate super-specialty training; MD in US usage) from Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, USA.
